How does ClearEmail MH (Mail Hosting) work?

The ClearEmail service redirects your email to our filtering service, pulls out the bad emails (spam and viruses etc) and then forwards the good email to your/our mail server for delivery to your inbox. ClearEmail can also host your email inbox on our own mail server so you can focus on your business, not running an email system. Our servers also have shared calendars, individual and group address books.

Your email program (or our webmail in an emergency) is then used to collect the email in exactly the same way as you always have from your own or other email services. 

The main difference is that ClearEmail uses high end filtering systems that are usually only available to larger companies and corporations.  Our licences enable us to aggregate our smaller customers onto one account bringing you the benefits of security systems costing many thousands of dollars.

• Enterprise Anti-Virus includes heuristics and several commercial scanning engines.

• Personal and group address book, tasks and calendar that synchronises with MS Outlook.

Calendar and Task Sharing.

The Calendar functionality of the Groupware module allows users to assign tasks to one another and set appointments (reminders). Permission level settings are provided, enabling the owner of a task to enable or restrict the recipients' ability to modify the task.

The Web-based Calendar and address-book can be synchronized to a desktop client running Outlook 2000/2003.

Address Book

The Personal Address-book allows users to separate personal contacts from Global and Shared contacts. These contacts can only be viewed by the individual user-account.
