Sydney, Australia. October 13th, 2008
Sydney based email security SaaS provider Cleartext is offering incentives to current MessageLabs clients that aren't comfortable with their provider being acquired by Symantec.
"Since Cleartext launched it's managed email security platform our new business typically comes from organisations using solutions like MessageLabs and Symantec, so it makes sense to offer MessageLabs users an alternative with equivalent SLA's and a richer more tightly integrated feature set." said David Banes, Managing Director or Cleartext.
Cleartext is offering several incentives to MessageLabs clients to move to Cleartext's ClearEmail. The simplest offering is the bundling of three services for the price of two, for example including Content Control in the core anti-spam and anti-virus offering.
The company is also offering discounts off the list price, as much as 20% for a single year or 25% on multi-year deals across the core platform, email archiving and business email continuity. Â
"Cleartext services stack up well against the big brand names out there, with features like bounce protection (BATV) and data loss prevention (DLP) being real differentiators and our customer support is second to none, just look at our testimonials", said Banes.
'Having used MessageLabs for a while and tried MailGuard, SJB have chosen Cleartext's ClearEmail for its effective email filtering, excellent support and compelling service road map.' Â - SJB Architects, Melbourne, Australia.
“Cleartext gives us the certainty we need with our email, which is one of our primary forms of communication with customersâ€.  - Michael Priebe, Statecraft.
